Couples Therapy

  • Pre-Marital

Couples therapy can be extremely beneficial in navigating your values and beliefs and understanding how it impacts your relationship dynamic. Whether you live together or dating, it is important to seek professional help in working through difficult conversations so both of you can feel empowered and have your needs met. I have experience working with many diverse couples who are in interracial relationships, LGBTQIA+ relationships, varying age difference and are in different stages in life. As your couples’ therapist, I will work with both of you to come up with goals for therapy, learn healthier ways to communicate and get to a place where you are able to have relationship satisfaction.

  • Marital

All marriages face challenges but how we move through those challenges determine whether we have healthy relationships. Whether you recently got married or have been married for years, it is important to seek professional help as you move through all the changes that can come with a marriage. As your couples’ therapist, I will work to create a safe space that is non-judgmental where both of you are able to express your emotions. I will help you find practical solutions and healthier ways to communicate so you can get back to a loving relationship. If you do not have your partner’s support in seeking therapy, you can still make subtle changes and gain insight on your own to move towards a healthy relationship.

  • Infidelity

Experiencing infidelity can be extremely traumatic as you grapple with hurtful emotions of betrayal, sadness, hopelessness, anxiety, shame and guilt. Whether you experienced infidelity or were unfaithful, there is hope. As your couples’ therapist, I will work with you and your partner to manage initial emotions, explore next steps and help with ways to rebuild trust in the relationship. I will help both of you process past hurts and find ways to rebuild a healthy future together. No matter what you both decide, I will support you through this difficult process in a non-judgmental manner.

  • Life Transitions

Life transitions can come in many different forms. Whether you are caring for a family member, becoming parents, moving to a different place, changing careers or deciding to part ways, these decisions can impact your relationship. Having someone who is in your corner helping you navigate the nuances and complexities of your decision can be helpful. As your couples’ therapist, I will work with both of you as you transition. I will support you in processing your emotions, openly voicing your feelings, gain clarity, find acceptance, love, forgiveness and happiness together.
